Searching franticly for ggrandmother Julia A.Forster. She came to the USA 1867 with her whole family. They came over on the Steamer Saxonia and boarded Hamberg Germany. The whole family were born in Denmatk. Julia was about 8 when she arrived. I know that the ship docked in NY harbor. I know that they lived in FT.Scott Kansas, Boubourn county. I have found some of the federal census and found some of the family. I know that Julia lived in the town of Eden,Peoria county. I cannot find any information on Eden.Julia married my ggrandfather Elisha R.Goings. 11/07/1876 Lasalle county. They lived in Lasalle county for a while then moved to Clay City, clay county IL. Elisha died 1910 and buried in Mayville cem. Julia died 1944. If anyone can shed some light on Julia her family and Elisha Goings, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
