Looking for any details of John L. Hodge who left the UK (possibly from Cardross in Scotland) to work on the Railways in Ohio and Canada in about 1858. He may have been a civil engineer or surveyor. In 1900, his widow (name unknown) was living in Toledo Ohio with his children, the youngest, James Hodge, was born about 1859.
