Adoption through Christ Child Home in Des Moines (now Catholic Charities). Father may have been alcoholic. SIBLINGS birth names were HELEN born 1935, BUSTER (?) born 1936, DOLORES born 1937, EMMA born 1939, and myself JERRY born 1941. An infant girl sister smothered.
