I am looking for information on my great-great grandfather, James Houlihan. He supposedly was born in Ireland, and came to the US thru Canada. He married Elizabeth "Lizzie" Callahan (b. 1848). They had at least 5 children who include: Jerimiah Patrick "Jerry" (b. 1879), John (b.1877), James (b.1882) and Thomas (b.1890). I know they lived on a farm in Dubuque Co. Iowa. I heard he abandoned the family after a "bad business deal". Three of his children were married. Jerry married Anna Noonan, James married Loretta Henebery, and Thomas married Rose.
