Dear genealogy researchers. You are invited to view the Dixon Genealogy Web Site. http://www.dixongenealogy.com The site started out as a way for me to research my family history, but has developed into a way for me and others to have easy access to genealogical sites and message boards. To the left of the screen if you scroll down to the bottom you will find Genealogy search links there are over 50 genealogy search engines, Message boards, and free genealogy soft ware sites. The web site is a Dixon site, but anyone doing genealogy on their family can benefit from this easy to use and find format. There are no fancy buttons, flash, or banners just easy to read links one click and your there. There are stories from the 12th century about Thomas (Keith) Dicson, Dickson, Dixon. Information about the areas that some of the Dixons are from, and a list of Dixon’s starting from 1823 to 1890 from North, West, and East Yorkshire, England. The Yorkshire Age, Birth & Location, Batisms & burial links has Dixon’s from all over England. I plan to start listing the Dixon’s in the U.S. for states, and cities as I find time.
