Looking for birth parent(s) My brother was born on April 21, 1962. We live in Nashville TN. The Social Worker was Dot Jenkins who worked for the Chirch of Christ orphans home and we were told the births parents were very young and the maternal grandfather was a well known composer. Tennessee or Kentucky we believe to be the home of the birth parents.I think that is one of the reasons my brother has always had an interest in music since neither I nor my parents are musical. She also told my parents they looked very similar to the mother's parents. He was only 10 days old when we got him due to an outbreak of some kind of childhood illness ie measeals or chicken pox at the orphanage so babies were moved to the foster parents network and none were available to care for him. I was only 11 at the time so this is about all I remember. He did have a teddy bear or some kind of stuffed animal with him we always assumed was from his mother or birth relative. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
