Albertson,Kimbrell: Trying to find info on extinct town of 'Albertson Community' about 10 miles from Moselle, MS. My gggrandparents, Hiram and Lavinia Albertson are on the 1900 census. He was a blacksmith and she ran a boarding house. In several newspaper articles from early 1900 there was reference to Moselle and Albertson Community in connection to school functions. One article mentioned the train stopping at Albertson Crossing. I have not been able to find any info for this community or family in the are. I have been able to determine that the New Orleans & Northeast R.R. probably is the railroad. Any info appreciated | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
