Looking for help, trying to locate information on my fathers side. last names: campbell, kane, o'rourke, reddenbach in particular: George Campbell and wife (Kane). Buried in Bath New York. George was born in either Scotland, Ireland, or New York. Had a son, Thomas J. Campbell (b. 8/5/1898 d. 6/1/61) Thomas married Charlotte Redenbach (b. 3/17/1900 d. 5/17/61). Thomas was in WWI as a corporal in field hospital. No birth certificate found, apparently was born with mid-wife in house. Have verified dates by baptismal cert. with presb church in NY. Also, there is relationship to the last dead soldier brought home from WWI, on the S.S. Cambrai, last name Kane (believed to be George's wife's nephew). Soldier's mother may have been named "Rose". Have been trying to locate reference material (i.e. newspaper write ups on processions, etc, which occurred, as per what my father remembers. If anyone can help direct me, I am indebted. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
