I have been trying genealogy research in Oklahoma searching for my daughter's biological father's family. Do you have any suggestion where I might find a newspaper article from 1934 concerning the murder of Albert Bessent and his son. I believe the person involved last name was Mantooth. Albert Bessent - Born in Texas, Died 9 Oct 1934, Darwin, Pushmataha, OK He was married to Rhoda Parlee Tomlinson - Born in Valley Mills Texas, Born 18 Apr 1873, Died 15 Nov, 1970,Pampa, Gray, Texas (She was first married to a person by the name of Herald).
