I am searching for information on an African American family, Carter Carson born in Mississippi in 1836/5 moved to Louisiana. Lived with family, Wife, Amy Carson born In Louisiana in 1832, son's Henry Carson born 1862( Link) Lewis Carson born 1855, Augustus Carson born 1864. Henry Carson is the link from Carter but I need to find Carter Carson's father and mother, i have not been able to find it in the 1850 or 1860 Census. If any one as any info on this family please let me know, I am searching this line for a close friend at work and it has indeed been a challenge!! I would appreciate any help!!
