Need any and all information for John McAuliff born July 27, 1849 in Ireland. Died Dec. 12, 1922. Came to U.S. around 1851. Married Sarah Elizabeth Shuey. They lived in Webb City, Mo most of their married lifes. Had 6 children--Harvey (Ed), Ruthie (Lou), Matthew, Mary, William and Effie (Betty). Family stories say he ran away from home at 14---was a Texas Ranger---lost his leg in the Civil War---was a friend of Wild Bill and drove a wagon in his Wild West Show. This is my husband's ggrandfather. Keep hitting a "brick wall". Cannot find parents names or brothers or sisters. Can anyone help? | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
