Scotland Homecoming 2009 is being held next year in Scotland. It will include a series of events to attract Scots from around the world. The key events are the Clan Gathering (late July) and the Edinburgh Tattoo (August). We are inviting all McBirnies/McBurneys to return to Scotland during this period, as we are planning our own 'gathering' August 8th in our ancestral area of Maybole / Crosshill in Ayrshire.
