I am looking for information on my grandfather, Edvin Stokfelt Abrahamsen Sandberg. He immigrated to Ontario, Canada from Trondheim, Norway in 1909 by himself. He first went to Toronto, Ontario, Canada and then to Brantford, Ontario, Canada. His vocation was a tailor. My grandmother, Jenny Holmer Sandberg, joined him in June of 1909 with their first child, Osborne. Charles, Henry and Clarence were born in Toronto and in 1916 Harold and Ruth(twins) were born in Brantford. After the birth of the twins on November 26, 1916 and before the end of 1917 my grandfather died. I have a picture of his grave in Brantford but am unable to locate the cemetery he is buried in. I believe they were of the Lutheran faith. It would be wonderful to hear from someone who could give me some help. Thank you. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
