Query Text: |
My Great, great, great Grandfather John Hubbard Hall with his son Egbert Cornwell Hall moved to NC from Meriden, New Haven County, CT. I have not been able to link him to any CT Halls. Family history/tradition/myth says we are descendants of John Hall and Jane Woolen and that Lyman Hall is a cousin of some sort. Here is the data that I have that I am sure of: Egbert Cornwell Hall b. May 27, 1814, CT d. May 9, 1857, NC married Susan Hawley Hodges b. May 23, 1820, Norfolk, VA d. January 17, 1897, Red Springs, NC John Hubbard Hall, b. April 12, 1788 Meridan, CT d. September 20, 1867 in NC married Mary Cornwell Recently I have been trying to find where the Hall and Cornwell families have intermarried family, hoping that that will give me a clue as to how to document Egbert Cornwell Hall's ancestors. I am having no luck. I would appreciate any help or guidance that you might be able to provide with the Hubbards that could help me in being able to tie my NC ancestors to those in CT. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
