My grandfather, Charles McHugh, married Bridget Agnes Gallagher in the middle to last 1890's. I was told that they were from an area called Mount Charles near Donegal. They came through Ellis Island into the United States. They settled into Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. They had 8 children, Charles, Jr., Anna Mae, Patrick (my father - was born in 1900), James, Winifred, Francis, Margaret, and Joseph. I am going to Ireland next week and was wondering if any branch of the family was in Donegal with whom I can connect. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
