I am looking for my gggrandfather, Joseph Henery HYLAND. He was born somewhere in Ireland in November 1863. He emigrated to the USA, landing at the Port of New York, in 1883. In 1892 he married Anna KEEGAN, who had emigrated from Ballymahon, Longford, Ireland. They had nine chldren, but only three survived to adulthood: Mary, Christopher and Francis (Frank). He appears on the 1900 and 1910 Manhattan, New York City, NY census records, but not on the 1920. Anna remarried sometime after 1910, to Mathew Morgan. I have been unable to locate a death certificate in NY City for Joseph to this point, and I would need his date of death to order a certificate from New York State. If Joseph fits into anyone's family tree I would very much appreciate hearing from them. He is, at present, my biggest brick wall! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
