Looking for the family of Augusta Marie HESSER born 01 Aug 1862 Germany died 06 Oct 1921 899 Willow Ave., North Bergen, Hudson County, New Jersey under the name of Marie KAEPPER who married LUTZ and came to the US with KOEPPER. Augusta Marie HESSER is the daughter of Julius HESSER and Sophie LOUDON according to her death certificate. It is told that Augusta was of noble family and KOEPPER was a 'footman' for the HESSER family. It is said that Augusta was not married to Armandus KOEPPER but came to the US with him and all of her children assumed the KOEPPER surname. One of the daughters, Emma KOEPPER born 31 Mar 1896 Germany, died 23 Aug 1962 Wayne County Memorial Hospital, Honesdale, Pennsylvania and married a police detective, David Frances MCCARTHY 15 Sep 1914 St. Brigid R.C. Church, 4501 Liberty Avenue, North Bergen, Hudson County, New Jersey who was the son of Charles MCCARTHY born Abt. May 1852 Ireland and died 18 Dec 1903 New York City, Manhatten Borough New York and Elizabeth EDWARDS born Abt. Aug 1850 Ireland and died 12 May 1923 510 Hackensack Plank Rd., North Bergen, Hudson Co., New Jersey. Charles and Elizabeth are buried in Calvary Cemetery, Flushing, NY along with two infant sons. David was born 25 Feb 1885 New York City, Manhattan Borough New York died 12 Feb 1955 St. Mary's Hospital, Hoboken, Hudson Co New Jersey. David & Emma are buried in Madonna Cemetery, Ft.
