I am seeking any information about my father's aunt, Hattie Luikert. This is her maiden name. In particular, I would like to know the names of her husband (s) and her children, and would like to contact any living descendants. She was born in New York City on June 14, 1888. Her parents' names were Alfred Luikert and Hedwig Lowenstein. In the 1910 US Census, she is listed as age 21, already widowed, and having 2 children who are not shown in the census as living with her. Also, since her surname is shown as Lucas, I presume that was her deceased husband's surname. As I cannot find any record of her after the 1910 US census, I suspect that she married a second time. UPDATE: 03/24/2009 I now know that Hattie's first husband was named Thomas Francis Lucas and her 2nd husband was named Michael J Thompson. I suspect she may have had a 3rd husband as well (and possibly a 4th one too). | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
