Two mysteries...can anyone help me find the answers? My husband's GGGrandfather is BELIEVED to be Edward Rollins. Born in Canada Oct 1844. His wife, Lydia Dewolf, was the named mother of 5 children Edna (b.1874),James(b.12-16-1875 or 1877),Joseph(b.6-1879),Gertrude(b.3-1882) and Jennie(b.4-1875). Edward passed away in Ogdensburg,NY USA. Is it possiable for Jennie(my husbands great grandmother)to be born 8 months before her brother?YES but in the US Census 1900, it listed Edward and his wife Lydia and their 4 children (Jennie is not listed). Their kids are all in their late teens, early 20's. However Jennie is listed as a daughter of William Rollins in that same year, she is 21. No one in our family recalls a William Rollins (I was thinking maybe a brother of Edward that Lydia had a fling with?????) I have not found a connection or any information...I would appreciate any input or leads. Maybe Im just missing something. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
