I am trying to locate relatives of Charles Wesley Hemphill, born around 1890 in Elkton, MD, to Stephen (sp) and Lucy (Hall) Hemphill and having a brother Howard. Both were in Camden, NJ in 1910. Charles married Ruth Leola Beck in Camden, NJ on 11/27/1912 and they resided at 27 Wood Street. His listed occupation at the time was a shipbuilder. Charles and Ruth had a daughter, Grace Evelyn, born 3/18/1914. Charles is believed to have died sometime around 1918. Howard is believed to have gotten into the dry goods business and ran H.B. Hemphill Dry Goods in Camden, NJ at 613 Broadway with his wife Bertha and Ross and Emma Hemphill in 1927.
