Hello, I am searching for my Latvian relatives. The names GRASIS, BRUVERIS, also my cousins JANIS, DAINIS, and ZENTA. My grandfather was JANIS GRASIS, my Grandmother was ALLICIA (maybe incorrect spelling) and her 2nd married name was BRUVERIS. JANIS left to live on a farm near Riga, Latvia and married a woman who already had 2 or 3 children. My father Julius knows that his father Janis was a high ranking Major in the Army. This is all the information I have. My father JUILUS GRASIS had a sister VERONICA ZENTINA, and a brother who died very young. I do not know VERONICA’s married name but her husband may have been MILOS. She had 2 sons JANIS and DAINIS. She died giving birth. I know very little about JANIS. I know that DAINIS was married twice and that one of his wives names might be SANDRAS. Dainis has a daughter named ZENTA. Dainis and Zenta lived with our grandmother after his wife died to help raise little Zenta. Dainis, Zenta and Allicia all lived in Varpu street, Riga, Latvia, in Allicia’s house till she died.
