birth mother I was born Brenda Joyce Callahan July 16, 1954 at Providence Hospital in Detroit MI. Mother's name on papers is Joyce Callahan. Believe she and her family have connections to Toledo OH. Some info says they lived near the zoo or Walbridge Park area. Comes from a large family. A family member, maybe a sister, was a religious nun. Joyce was in a long term relationship with my father. Joyce went to Detroit to give birth and left after my adoption was final in 1955. Joyce would have been in her thirties at this time,I think.
