I am looking for information about my husband's grandmother, Sarah Verna Blanche Minnick (or Minick), born 11-15-1883 in Winnsboro, Wood Co., TX to John Wallace Minnick and Marian Marcellus Mayfield Alderson Minnick. Her younger siblings were named Karl, Ora, Bertha, Christopher, Cora and Mable (or Mariel?). Older siblings included John David, Lena Rivers, and Zada. She left home as a teenager, had a child---Violet Marie, and later married my husband's grandfather, Robert Lee Hooten. We can't find any information on him. I haven't been able to locate marriage information or anything about a first marriage, etc. (possibly to an Ellege?). Any information would be appreciated. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
