MARY DUFF nee Jeffrey daughter of Edward Jeffrey and Nora Jeffrey nee Mclean. Mary went to Scotland and married a James Duff in Milngavie in 1891 giving her age as 22 but we think she may only have actually been 17. She declares both her parents as being dead. Her Father Edward Jeffrey is said to be a crofter last known in Garramore Co.Cavan Mary says she was born in Ballynagh either 1871 or 1874.
