Searching for siblings of my father who was adopted out of a Catholic Hospital in San Francisco in November of 1945. His birth date is November 24th 1945. He was adopted by a Mormon Couple out of Reno NV when he was approximately a week old. His Adopted mother (My grandma) told me once when I was twelve. That the young, but married couple, that she had adopted my father from came and offered her a full sibling of his, a daughter, approximately 4-6 years later (although honestly, it could easily be 2-8 years) to which, she had declined adopting. She shared this as to be the one thing she wished she could change. My grandmother always told me she had picked my father because he had red hair, and I knew she meant it as a way in asserting her ownership of him, because she to had been a red head her entire life. He now sports a very olive complexion (even living in Western Washington State) and his once red locks are Jet Black. I have a hunch; that because of the geographical local of the adoption the religious affiliation of the hospital he was adopted out of, and his physical characteristics, that he could be of Hispanic, or have Spanish or Mediterranean lineage. My father is now 53 and the hope that one of his Biological parents is still alive is slim, but I know there is a full blood Aunt to me. Someone more likely for me and my dad to be able to find. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
