Looking for information on a Rebecca Ann Light born 1834 in Ohio. Could her father and mother possibly be John & Phoebe (Dole) Light??? She married October 14, 1853 in Lee County, Iowa to William Brown born 1823 Great Britian (England). William Brown was born 1823 in Great Britian(England) 1856 Census Lee County, Iowa lists William Brown (Head of household) (Rebecca wife) and children Britton A. 2 years old, Victoria Gertrude 1 year old. 1870 Census Des Moines County from Lee County lists: William Brown, Rebecca, Victoria, Americus, Ida, Bertha, Ben and Charolette. Lee County Map shows New Boston, Iowa where this family lived during the 1800's. They had 6 children possibly all born in and around Lee County Iowa. Names: 1. Britton (Brittian) Americus September 13, 1854 2. Victoria Gertrude B. Abt. 1855 3. Ida Brown 4. Bertha Brown 5. Ben Brown 6. Charolette Brown William & Rebecca are my 2nd Great Grandparents.
