I am searching for information about John W. Clark who lived in Texas County, Missouri in the 1840 to 1880. He married a woman named Charlotte Ellis. He is the oldest Clark I know of in my paternal line. I would like to find out who his parents are and where he came from. Census records say he came from Tennessee.
