Trying to trace backwards from John Carr IRVINE b. abt 1859 in Scotland, d. 29 Apr 1936 in South Australia. He is supposed to have emigrated to South Australia from Scotland aboard the Hesperus in abt 1876 or 1877. John Carr IRVINE married Sarah Jane ROSSI in South Australia in 1886. His family lived near the Clyde in Glasgow Scotland and according to records his father was Joseph Septimus IRVINE. Any information would be helpful. Also looking for details about Sarah Jane ROSSI b.abt 1860, d 6 Nov 1906 South Australia. Her father's name was Ralph ROSSI.
