Thanks everyone for the responses to my Query. I have the information on Martha Matilda Hayhurst DORRIS from the Census - from Elllis, Caldwell Co., Texas and Williamson Co., IL...the 1910 has errors in spelling of names and Martha had died by this time, Richard Thomas DORRIS had remarried. The youngest two girls of the family were Clara 'Hope' DORRIS and Cynthia Caroline 'Calllie' DORRIS. By 1920 Hope and Callie had both married and Richard had two more daughters with his wife, Alsina TANNER DORRIS. In total Martha had 9 children, 3 children died prior to making home in Illinois. I have the death certificate for Richard Thomas DORRIS and the WRONG Martha Matilda DORRIS, IRAD does not have an index on a Martha Matilda DORRIS before 1916. Charles Hillary DORRIS 1st wife was Anna Daisy RUSHING DORRIS; Wynema D. and Paul C. are their children; Marissa was Charles second wife. They had no issue. If any of the responders are doing research on Ailey Maude DORRIS WATKINS, Charles Hillary DORRIS, Buela Mae DORRIS HASTINGS, Nell N. DORRIS McCLUSKEY, Clara Hope DORRIS CRAIN or Cynthia Caroline DORRIS GENTRY, I will be happy to share my personal and documented information. Thank you for all your help, however I continue to search for a date of death and burial plot for Martha Matilda HAYHURST DORRIS. Anymore information will be appreciated.
