In my line I have an Emma Rachel Orr, (my forebear grandmother) bn. DEC: 1847, mar: 23 Feb. 1863 to James Harvy Miller, Aurora, Ill. He died in war, Andersonville Prison, Ga. She bore him a son that he never saw. She remarried a Daniel S. Corps/Corpes & moved to Bonnieville or Boonsville, Indiana. She died approximately yrs later leaving her son orphaned to her brother, Charles T. & Mary E. Orr in Dwight, Illinois. They all later moved to Caldwell Co., Missouri. The genealogy of my Orr family is as follows: Robert Robertson Orr bn: ? in Ireland, died in Actororo, Pennsylvania. Wife? Children: Amos Orr bn: Chester Co., Pa., died in Actororo. Pa. Wife Sarah Children: Robert Robertson Orr Bn: Jan. 27, 1815, Philadelphia, Pa. Mar: May 02, 1833, to Margaret McClease Bn: 1817, Philadelphia, Pa. Died? Children: Mary E. Orr bn: March 25, 1836 Died Sept. 25, 1836 at Bonanza, MO. Charles T. Orr bn: April 23, 1838, Philadelphia, Pa. Died 1933, MO. Margaret Orr bn: Oct. 1841 Died? Emma Rachel Orr bn: Dec. 1847 in Aurora, Illinois. Married: Feb. 23, 1863 in Aurora, Illinois. Died: Jan. 17, 1868, in Bonnievill or Boonsville, Indiana, buried there. Spouse: James Harvy Miller/Daniel S. Corp/Corps Children: James A. Miller (my line) bn: June 01, 1864, Aurora, Illinois (James grandfather/mother were John Samuel Miller & Celia Kennedy both originally from Johnstown New York. The family eventually settled in Dwight, Illinois & are buried in the Oak Lawn Cemetery in Dwight, Illinois. Caroline Corp/s bn: ca. 1867 in Indiana died in infancy. Mother Emma Rachel died later 1868? Buried in Indiana? Trying to bring my G-G-Grandmother Emma Rachel Orr back into the fold. Have other family information to share if we are compatible? Stephen D.
