I am trying to trace relatives from my father's family.He was called John Clair McCabe and was born to James McCabe and Mary McCabe (nee Clair) in Redding in Scotland in Aug 1910. There were 3 other siblings-William, James and Mary. The family moved to Falkirk in Scotland and are still there.My grandfather James's sister went to America and married into a family called Whyte or White and lived in Raleigh, Mass in the 60's- My aunt Mary corresponded for many years with her cousins who came to visit the family.
