Serching for any information on Lewis M. Thorp and wife, Amelia Matilda Carter (Chartier). They were born in early 1800's and married circa 1835. In 1850 & 1860 Chesterfield Twp., Fulton Co., Ohio they were listed as living there. Lewis Thorp wrote on behalf of his mother-in-law, Mary Polly Wilcox Carter (Chartier) to obtain pension for her husband, Anthony. Any information for my family history would be greatly appreciated.
