I am searching for my birth mother, who used the name Doris Marie Lindberg, on my original birth certificate. She named me Leslie Anne Lindberg. When adopted, my name was changed to Karen Lynn Kolpien. Now married, my name is Karen Lynn Bugaj. I was born on 02-12-1961, in Buffalo, NY at Booth Memorial Hospital (run by the Salvation Army). My birth mom was from Albany, NY according to old records. She was born in about 1937, the oldest of 5 children (3 younger sisters, with her brother being the youngest).
