Thanks to Ms Cher Caldwell, my Angel of Mercy, I have my brother. I will add my reunion story at a later date along with pictures. We have just had a visit with Hurricane Ike, so a lot of clean up to do here. But I have met with my half brother and he is all I could have wanted in a younger brother. Thanks to everyone who responded to my post, especially Cher, who had all the info I needed in less than 5 minutes after my post. My advice is do not give up... I am seraching for a half brother that was put up for adoption by my Mom. He was born at Physicians and Surgeons Hospital in Chattonooga on May 30, 1952. His name may be Eugene or Robert Eugene, but I do not have a last name for the adoptive family. They were supposed to move back to Alabama after the adoption was final. Our Mom is dead and I did not find out about this half brother until after her death, and all the people that were connected to this adoption in our family are now dead. So, I have been at a stand still for over 10 years now, no further than when I started. I am female, age 60 yrs, and I have two brothers, one younger and one older than myself. The half brother is the youngest of all four of us. My mother was Louise Howard, maiden name Taylor. Her mother was Molly Champion. My mom's aunt was the one that initiated the adoption for some friends of hers, the Aunt's name was Sallie Smith. All are from Chattanooga. End of story. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
