Iam trying to find information or relatives of my grandfather Donald Edward Shaffer, born 1913 in Iowa,Cerro Gordo county, Mason City Ward 4. His mother and father were Ethel (Putnam dob 1897) Shaffer and Clarence Shaffer dob 1889. Both were also born in Iowa. My grandfather Donald had 2 younger brothers, Richard Shaffer born about 1915 and Bernard Shaffer born about 1917. My grand father Donald married my grand mother Olga Regina Johnson of Douglas,ND. They had my father 3/29/1939 Darrell Otis Shaffer in Minniapolis, Minnesota , Hennepin county. I have been searching for my grandfather for many years, my father never met him and my grandmother would never tell him anything.
