I jsut received a top quality ancient history surname for GRemillion. It also said that other spin-off surnames came off at that time because of selling changes in written transcriptions and because of local dialect. it said that in the same lineage is Crimi,Cremona,Crema,Cemaschi,Cremesisi,Terzani,Crenonese, and Cremonini. It says that the first records of this name were in Nortern Italy in Cremona,Lomabardia. And so on and so on. I always had this feeling of Italian origination and then migration. My father is from avoiles parish in central Louisiana. I want to fill in the gaps from avoiles parish to Cremona,Italy. Can you help me or guide me? THis has become an obcession now for me. I never felt my heritage was totally french in nature , now I see it goes farther back than that. The ancient history surname Gremillion was very extensive, now I need to fill in the middle.Help,help,help.... thanks,Jim GRemillion | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
