ISO birth family. I was born 11/22/73 at Albany Medical Center, Albany, NY. Birth mother was 26 at time of birth, and birth father was 25. Both had graduated from high school and had a "common law marriage". As far as I know both parents were African American. Adoption was handled by Albany Children and Family Services and finalized in Columbia County. My birth name was Melissa (last name unknown). Birth mother was 5' and 105 pounds, birth father was 6'1 and 185 pounds. My mother had one child 4 years old at the time of my birth. Unsure if this child was adopted or was male or female. It was said that the adoption was a difficult decision for her. Birth mother attended community college and either a LPN nurse, nurse's aide or waitress and birth father was a business manager.
