I am looking for information on my greatgrandfather. His name was Alfred Angell and he served in the RI infantry duing the Civil War. He had one child, Chloe Maria Angell, who moved to SD with her husband, Fred Wood, in about 1910. My family has his Civil War dog tag and I would like any information concerning him or his family. His family owned a fairly good size farm on the RI - MA border near Wallum Pond?. None of my SD relatives have ever been back to RI but I would like to go and see where my grandmother came from.
