I am an adoptee who recently received information pertaining to my birth Mother. She was 28 years old on public assistance. She walked into the hosptial to deliver me at 10:45 and I was delivered at 10:57pm, October 7, 1977. SHe had postpandom issues which had her detained in Bellevue Hopsital. I was never told she ever came to see me until I received information from the NY Foundling stating that she visited me regularly and tried to help herself so may keep me. My birth Name was Linda Dubois and I have a sister who was born in 1971. My Mother described as having reddish brown hair and blue eyes. I have those same traits as well as my daughter, who was born Dec 2008. My mothers' fateher was in the military and her Grandmother was of Irish descent. I was found to have a Chromosone Issue that caused a few complications along the way of having my daughter. That initiated my search. But since I have received this new information that she fought for me, I need to find her. My adoption was finalized December 19, 1978.
