Looking for parents or siblings of John Hampton Thompson aka Hampton Thompson, born Sept. 1806 in NC, relocated approx 1833 to Marion County, TN, then moved to Jackson County or DeKalb County, AL approx 1851. Married Lavinia McGuinn, born 1808 in NC, lived in Rutherford County, NC until 1833. Both died in 1852 in AL, burial place unknown. Research indicates a William Thompson relocated to TN from NC and possibly a brother or close relative. Other family names in line are Griggs, Cash, Newsom, Medlin. Jerry Thompson Hot Springs, AR
