My African American birth mother was a 31 years old with a husband and five kids (four boys ages 12, 8, 6 and 3 & one girl age 10)at the time of my birth. She was not married to my birth father who was a 32 year old aviation mechanic who also had children ranging in age from 1 to 12 years(number of kids unknown). Both of the birth mothers parents were living and in good health. Her father was a city worker. She had three sisters (one was 5'4" tall and the other two were 6'). The adoption was handled by the Children's Home Society who placed me in a foster care until I was given to my adoptive parents on 8/23/1968. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
