I am an adoptee searching for my birth family. My birth certificate states that I was born in Mississippi on January 29, 1976 and was given up for adoption about six months later. My foster parents indicated my birth mother was from around the Mississippi Gulf Coast. I believe she was unmarried and in college at the time I was born.
