I am searching for my birth family. I was born on May 28, 1976. My birth certificate states I was born in Gulfport, Mississippi. I was adopted at 6 weeks old through the Division of Family and Children's Services. I have no information about my birth family except they may have thought I was born with a handicap (like Down Syndrome). I am actually a healthy male all grown up now with a daughter of my own. She was born with what we believe to be Benign Congenital Hypotonia (which is what I may have actually had as a baby and possibly why I was put up for adoption). My wife and I want to have another baby, but we want to learn more about my birth family's medical history. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
