I am searching any relatives who have any information about my birth family. I was born on May 18, 1955 at St. Josephs Hospital in Hamilton Ontario. I weighed 5lbs 14 oz. I had brown eyes and reddish brown hair. I was baptized on June 10, 1955 at St Josephs Church in Hamilton.I was placed in a foster home and the adoption was arranged through catholic childrens aid society. I was placed with my adoptive family on July 5, 1956 and the adoption was finalized in bruce county on august 23 1957. I was given the name Mary Theresa Wall by my birth mother. Her name was Mary E Wall. She was of Irish decent on both sides and her family was from the east coast. Her birth date was April 23, 1918. She had worked in the past in a Hotel in Halifax. In toronto she worked for Robert Simpson & Company. She was married for 10 years before I was conceoved, and lost her husband. She was 37 at the time of my birth. She had come from a family of 8 children 5 girls 3 boys. My birth father spent a number of years in the seminary in czechoslovakia, he also owned his own grocery business. After moving to ontario he worked as a crane operator. My birth parents had planned to marry, but my bfather had a wife in europe and the RC church had no way to invalidate his marrage and my B mother would not marry out of the church. he left and then my b mother learned she was pregnant. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
