I am researching the Munros from Crathie, Aberdeenshire/Banff. The earliest one I have is James Munro , baptized 1800 in Kirkmichael, Banffshire, Scotland. His father, Hary Munro is listed as coming from Stockton. the only Stockton I can find is in England. Is there, or was there one in Scotland as well. Mother was Janet Grant.
