We are looking for information on or descendants of Heinrich Friedrich Georg Bartels (known as Georg), born on 19 December 1835 at Salzhemmendorf. Georg was a restaurateur and owned the Gasthaus Stadt Brussel on Klagesmarkt 2 in Hanover. He was married to Louisa Wilhelmina Dorothea Peters ( known as Minna) born October 12 1837 in Hanover. Their children were Friedrich, Ludwig, Wilhelm, Otto, Ernst, Minna and a half brother Georg (child of Louisa and her first husband). Friedrich became a baker and immigrated to New York in approximately 1887 and later moved to Chicago. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
