I am looking for my biological father and any children of my birth father. I was born on September 24, 1967 and my birth name is Cheryl Ann Forrest. My biological parents were not married and my biological father was married to someone else, with other children, and mother had married a friend to allow him to stay in the country. His name was Antonios Poulackis. I know he is not my father and was not listed on my birth certificate as so. I have been told only recently that my bilological father was a NY police officer/detective, or somehow involved in law enforcement. I also know that he was at least part African American, had green eyes and was born in March. I was lead to believe he may have turned 80 this year, which means he was almost twenty years older then my mother, who was 22 when she gave birth to me. My mother's name at the time of my birth was Anna Marie Forrest. My biological father remained involved in my life until I was nearly three, and I have vague memories of him. My mother's listed address on my birth certificate is 55 Jayne Avenue in Patchogue, NY. When I was nearly three, in late 1969 or eaarly 1970, my mother took me to Maryland and severed all contact with him. I know he tried calling a number he found on her phone records and was told by the person who answered that they did not know her. That was a lie. This person eventually became my adoptive father. My mother recently passed away, and would not offer any additional informaation. I think she was trying to find the strength to do so, and divulged small bits of information at times, however she passed without revealing any name. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
