Query Text:

Looking for information on any Dunn families who moved from Va to Ky around the early 1800's. Some may have settled around the Logan County,KY area. Others moved into middle TN, and were involved in the pottery business. Specifically looking for information about the parents of John(possibly James) Allen Dunn, b, 1805 Va (per census). His Father is "presumed" to have died while Allen was very young. He "may" have had an uncle named William. His Mother "may" have been Mary, and he "may" or "may not" be related to either the Allen or Elmore families. There are also ties to the Lafever and Spears families beginning around 1800. DNA results point to the Surrey and Sussex areas of VA. Any new leads are sincerely appreciated. ~Lyn
