My name is Mike and I am searching for my Korean biological parents. The name on my adoption certificate is Kim, Yong Chol and the date of birth is 10/30/72. I was told that because I arrived at the orphange with no personal information, the information on the certificate was fabricated in order for me to be able to get adopted by an American name William Roemer (US Army)and his Korean wife Ann Hwa. Obtaining information from them about my past has been like pulling teeth. I guess they felt bitter because the courts divorced me from them because their abuse. Supposedly, I was adopted from an orphange near the town of Ubeonji (sp?), located near the DMZ and that is all that I know. I don't expect too much by posting this but it feels good to get it off of my chest.
