I'm truly searching for information on the history of my great grandparents, Elce Secrease and Ethel Secrease who resided in Oakwood, TX. It was said that Elce was a slave in the Louisiana/Texas area. It was said that his original last name was something like Mays or Maze and he took the last of his master, Secrease. It's said that he has a brother named Jack and two sisters, Susie and Della who resided in Teague,Texas.Ethel Secrease's maiden name was Busby and she was partly Indian. If any info is known or found, please contact me. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
